About DLG
DLG is a growing family business specialising in transport and logistics. In the UK, we transport fresh and frozen products in refrigerated trailers, including fruit, vegetables, flowers, plants and frozen food.
Your role
-
UK-wide refrigerated transport - fresh, chilled and frozen goods.

Tramping work with nights away.

A mixture of collections and deliveries.

Some tail-lift deliveries to garden centres, including loading and unloading.

Modern trucks and refrigerated trailers.

Flexible start and finish times depending on routes.
This role suits drivers who enjoy tramping, are comfortable with nights away and like a mix of driving and practical delivery work.
Working pattern:
-
5 days on / 2 days off – traditional weekly tramping.

6 days tramping - 24 hours at home or on the road / 5 days tramping – for drivers who prefer longer working patterns.

Flexible start days – shifts can be arranged to start on any day of the week.
What you bring

A valid Class 1 / C+E driving licence.

Valid Driver CPC and a digital tachograph card.

A professional attitude and good communication skills.

You will be paid the following rates:
-
£16.50 per hour for hours worked (Monday to Friday) up to 160 hours in a 4 week payroll period;

£19.50 per hour for hours worked (Monday to Friday) in excess of 160 hours in a 4 week payroll period;

£22.00 per hour per hour for all hours worked on Saturdays and Sundays.
