DLG is a growing family business specialising in transport and logistics. In the UK, we transport fresh and frozen products in refrigerated trailers, including fruit, vegetables, flowers, plants and frozen food.
Your role
-
Transport fresh and frozen products to customers across the UK.

Carry out varied collection and delivery work with refrigerated trailers.

Depending on your route, make tail-lift deliveries to garden centres, loading and unloading the goods yourself.

Work with variable start and finish times, depending on the route and deliveries.
This role suits drivers who enjoy tramping, are comfortable with nights away and like a mix of driving and practical delivery work.
Working pattern:
-
5 days on / 2 days off – traditional weekly tramping.

6 days tramping - 24 hours at home or on the road / 5 days tramping – for drivers who prefer longer working patterns.

Flexible start days – shifts can be arranged to start on any day of the week.
What you bring

A valid Class 1 / C+E driving licence.

Valid Driver CPC and a digital tachograph card.

A safe and responsible approach to driving and handling goods.

You will be paid the following rates:
-
£16.50 per hour for hours worked (Monday to Friday) up to 160 hours in a 4 week payroll period;

£19.50 per hour for hours worked (Monday to Friday) in excess of 160 hours in a 4 week payroll period;

£22.00 per hour per hour for all hours worked on Saturdays and Sundays.
