Job Overview
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Hostel Operations Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the hostel. The candidate will be responsible for supervising wardens, housekeeping, and mess operations and ensuring that all hostel activities are carried out efficiently and as per the required standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Take daily reporting from all Hostel Wardens, Housekeeping Supervisors, Housekeeping Staff, and Mess Staff.
- Supervise and monitor the day-to-day operations of the hostel.
- Audit and review the tasks performed by Wardens and Housekeeping/Mess Supervisors.
- Ensure proper cleanliness, hygiene, discipline, safety, and overall maintenance of the hostel.
- Monitor housekeeping operations and ensure assigned tasks are completed effectively.
- Oversee mess operations and ensure smooth functioning and proper service standards.
- Coordinate with wardens and supervisors to resolve operational issues and concerns.
- Conduct regular inspections of hostel facilities, rooms, common areas, housekeeping, and mess operations.
- Prepare and submit a daily report covering all hostel operations and activities.
- Identify operational gaps and ensure timely corrective action.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination between all hostel operational teams.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all day-to-day hostel activities.
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in Hostel Operations, Facility Management, Administration, or Residential Operations.
- Strong team management and supervisory skills.
- Ability to manage multiple operational teams effectively.
- Good reporting and documentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and coordination abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle operational issues and ensure timely resolution.
Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline preferred.
- Relevant experience in hostel, school, college, university, residential facility, or facility operations will be an added advantage.
Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
