CT Technologist | North Region |$10,000 Sign-On Bonus

CT Technologist - North Region

  • Full-Time, 40 hours per week.

  • Locations: Bloomingdale, Schaumburg, and Glen Ellyn

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, with rotating shifts based on department needs:7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.11:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m.

  • Weekend Requirement: Every third or fourth weekend, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

  • Holiday Requirement: Potentially one holiday per year, worked during daytime hours

  • Sign On Bonus Eligible - $10,000

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine CT examinations, CTAs, and other ordered diagnostic studies from start to finish under the direction of a radiologist.
  • Complete examinations of the appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and site-specific protocols.
  • Obtain detailed and accurate patient histories and explain procedures before each examination.
  • Start IVs and administer IV or oral contrast under the guidance and approval of the site radiologist.
  • Maintain patient care, comfort, and safety throughout each examination.
  • Produce high-quality networked images for radiologist interpretation.
  • Complete required scanning, protocoling, quality-control, and documentation responsibilities.
  • Follow ALARA principles and all applicable radiation-safety policies and regulations.
  • Perform equipment quality checks, troubleshoot problems, and coordinate service when needed.
  • Collaborate professionally with radiologists, site managers, clinical team members, clerical staff, and patients.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming imaging environment.
  • Protect patient confidentiality and comply with all Duly Health and Care CT imaging policies and procedures.
  • Maintain technical competency through continuing education and participation in Duly-sponsored training programs.
  • Maintain a current IEMA license and complete 24 hours of continuing education every two years.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology education program required.
  • ARRT Registered Technologist, RT(CT), required.
  • Current IEMA license required.
  • Basic Life Support, AED, and Adult and Pediatric CPR certification required.
  • Minimum of one year of CT-related experience or training preferred.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $34.00 - $51.00, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
