Dysons have joined the Kinetic family! As Australia's largest and most trusted bus operator, Kinetic is committed to keeping communities moving. We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Storeperson to join our Procurement & Supply Chain team based in Bundoora.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, takes pride in maintaining accurate inventory records, and is passionate about delivering outstanding support to internal stakeholders.
About the Role
As a Storeperson, you'll play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and inventory management processes. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching parts and materials that support our fleet operations across multiple depots.
You'll work closely with purchasing, fleet management, workshop, and warehouse / distribution teams to ensure stock availability, maintain accurate records, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries
- Organise and store inventory accurately and efficiently
- Conduct stock counts and maintain inventory records
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders across our depot network
- Process inventory movements using ERP systems
- Coordinate freight and logistics requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and warehouse optimisation
- Provide excellent service and support to internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
- Undertake any other duties as reasonably directed by your manager
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment
- Strong inventory management and stock control skills
- Experience using ERP or inventory management systems
- A current Forklift Licence
- Good computer literacy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Physical capability to safely lift and move stock as required
Experience within the transport, automotive, or heavy vehicle industries will be highly regarded.
