Role Description The Ecommerce Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Namakkal. This role oversees daily operations of online marketplaces and brand-owned ecommerce platforms, including catalog management, pricing, promotions, and product listings. The position is responsible for monitoring sales performance, analyzing data, optimizing conversion rates, and coordinating inventory and order fulfillment with internal teams. The Ecommerce Manager collaborates with marketing and sales to plan campaigns, manage digital merchandising, and ensure consistency of brand messaging across all online channels. The role also involves tracking competitor activity, preparing performance reports, and recommending initiatives to drive revenue growth and customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, monitor KPIs, and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and marketplace contacts.
- Demonstrated experience in Sales and E-Commerce operations, including managing online marketplaces or D2C platforms.
- Marketing skills to plan and execute digital campaigns, promotions, and merchandising strategies.
- Experience in FMCG or retail sector preferred, with understanding of consumer behavior and product assortment.
- Proficiency in ecommerce tools, marketplace dashboards, and basic Excel or data analysis software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Namakkal, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
