EDGE Innovate our currently looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our busy team.
Role Overview
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to a proactive and commercially aware marketing professional. The Marketing Executive will support the delivery and coordination of marketing and communications activities across EDGE Innovate’s global operations.
While the role includes elements of traditional marketing, it has a strong focus on digital marketing, centred around online channels, content creation, and performance-driven campaigns.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager and collaborating across sales, engineering, and leadership teams, you will contribute to initiatives that enhance brand visibility, strengthen market positioning, and support business growth.
Alongside external marketing activity, the role also places a strong emphasis on internal communications and employee engagement.
This role offers exposure across a broad range of marketing activities, with digital marketing at its core, from campaign delivery and content creation through to events and internal communications, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied, hands-on role within a digitally focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and optimise integrated marketing campaigns, with a strong focus on digital channels including social media advertising, email marketing, SEO, and SEM, alongside PR and events.
2. Support the implementation of global marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and market presence.
3. Manage the marketing calendar, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and aligned with business priorities.
4. Manage day-to-day activity across digital channels, including social media (LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, YouTube), website, and email marketing.
5. Create, schedule, and analyse content to drive engagement, growth, and campaign performance.
6. Plan, execute, and optimise digital campaigns, including paid advertising (Google Ads and social media), managing external partners where required.
7. Monitor and report on marketing performance using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations.
8. Contribute to the creation of engaging content including case studies, blogs, newsletters, and website copy.
9. Capture and promote “life at EDGE Innovate” content to support employer branding and recruitment initiatives.
10. Support cross-departmental communication and initiatives that promote a positive and aligned working culture.
11. Support the planning and delivery of exhibitions, trade shows, corporate events, and company initiatives
12. Assist with inward visits and customer engagement activities.
13. Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to support marketing delivery and business objectives.
14. Build and maintain strong working relationships across departments to ensure effective collaboration.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a marketing role.
- Strong digital marketing expertise, with hands-on experience across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, YouTube), Google Ads, email and web.
- Proven ability to plan, execute, and optimise digital campaigns
- Proven ability to create engaging written, visual, and video content
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across departments
Desirable
- Degree level qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline ie Marketing, PR or Communications.
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, or B2B sectors
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva
- Familiarity with website platforms (e.g. WordPress)
- Knowledge of SEO, paid advertising, and analytics tools
- Experience supporting events and exhibitions
