Eightcap operates at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and global financial markets. Headquartered in Melbourne with a global footprint spanning the UK, Cyprus, and Bulgaria, we build the high-performance infrastructure that connects the world to CFD markets - reliably, securely and with precision.

Eightcap is looking for a Salesforce Lead to own our Salesforce platform end to end. This is a hands-on role, roughly 70% building, configuring and developing, 30% leading a small team and shaping where the platform goes next.

You'll sit at the centre of the business. Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Legal & Compliance and Finance all run on Salesforce, and you'll be the person they come to when they need something built, fixed, automated or rethought. That means translating business problems into clean platform solutions, debating when a request isn't the right answer, and keeping the organisation from turning into technical debt.

We're also investing in Salesforce Voice / Service Cloud Voice as the backbone of our contact centre, so there's real greenfield work alongside the day-to-day. Aligning this to our Agentforce work is one of the top priorities.

As the Salesforce Lead, you will:

  • Own the Salesforce roadmap alongside the CTO: prioritise, sequence and communicate what's coming and why.
  • Lead, mentor and grow a team of 2–3 admins/developers; set standards for release management, documentation and code quality.
  • Build it yourself: declarative configuration, Flow, Apex, LWC, integrations and data modelling.
  • Partner with Sales, Service, Marketing, Legal & Compliance and Finance to gather requirements and deliver solutions that actually get adopted.
  • Design, deploy and optimise Service Cloud Voice / Salesforce Voice for our contact centre — routing, telephony integration, agent experience, call analytics.
  • Keep the platform compliant and audit-ready: permissions, data access, retention, and controls that satisfy Legal & Compliance in a regulated financial services environment.
  • Manage the release cycle, sandbox strategy and third-party AppExchange/vendor relationships.
  • Monitor org health, technical debt and licence utilisation, and make the case for change when it's needed.

Requirements Essential:

  • 5+ years working on Salesforce, including significant time as a senior administrator or technical lead.
  • Strong Apex, SOQL and Flow skills — you can build, review and debug production code.
  • Deep administration capability: security model, sharing, data management, deployment tooling.
  • Experience leading or mentoring other Salesforce professionals.
  • Track record working directly with multiple business functions and translating their needs into a coherent platform, not a pile of one-off requests.
  • Salesforce Voice / Service Cloud Voice or contact centre platform experience (CTI, omni-channel routing, telephony integration).
  • Comfortable planning: roadmaps, estimates, trade-offs, and explaining technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I Certifications.

Nice to have:

  • Financial services, fintech, trading or other regulated industry background.
  • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing (Cloud and/or thirdparty) and Experience Cloud exposure.
  • CI/CD for Salesforce (Gearset).
  • Advanced Administrator, Platform Developer II, or Application/System Architect certifications.
  • Integration experience with middleware, APIs or data platforms.
