Role Summary: The Technical Product Owner, Site Technology & Business Systems serves as the primary owner for operational technology platforms deployed across all El Car Wash locations. This role is responsible for vendor coordination, platform administration, issue triage, site technology deployments, acquisitions integrations, security systems oversight, payment systems support, and business stakeholder alignment. The position acts as the bridge between Operations, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, Construction, and IT Engineering teams to ensure critical site technologies remain stable, secure, and aligned with both technology standards and business needs. This is not a software product management role. It is a business technology ownership role focused on operational systems, vendor management, support coordination, and technology lifecycle management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own and manage the IT-side portfolio for Site Technology and Products: Micrologic/Wash Assist, cameras, ADT, internet/ISP coordination, Rinsed, Kount/MiDiGATOR, PCI/payment support coordination, Smartsheet/JotForm/Zapier support, QR/ShoutAboutUs administration support, and recurring vendor governance.
- Serve as the day-to-day bridge between Operations, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, Construction, and IT teams for site technology issues, enhancements, new installs, acquisitions, and vendor escalations.
- Maintain runbooks, platform inventories, escalation matrices, support processes, and release/update calendars.
- Coordinate NSO and M&A technology readiness across internet, cameras, ADT, payments, Micrologic setup, hardware, access, and vendor dependencies.
- Track recurring issues, vendor performance, and improvement opportunities. Push automation and standardization where repetitive coordination is creating operational drag.
- This should be junior-to-mid level, with strong organization, follow-through, technical curiosity, vendor management discipline, and comfort working directly with store/Ops stakeholders.

Required
- 3-7 years of technology operations, business systems, technical project management, or product ownership experience.
- Experience managing SaaS platforms and vendor relationships.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and coordination skills.
- Experience working with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and IT teams.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Retail, hospitality, multi-site operations preferably in car wash company, or restaurant, field-service experience.
Preferred
- Experience with payment systems, PCI compliance, or memberships/subscription platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Smartsheet, Power BI, and workflow automation.
- Experience supporting acquisitions and new-location deployments.
