Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 2 quality technicians, with full support and training on the leadership side.
- Take full ownership of the QMS, ensuring ongoing compliance and continuous improvement across customer and industry standards (ISO 9001 / ISO 14001).
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings to drive zero-defect manufacturing and Right-First-Time (RFT) standards across the shop floor.
- Execute root-cause investigations, NCRs, and quality analysis to resolve customer/supplier issues and reduce the cost of quality fails.
- Work closely with shop floor, production, and management teams to embed a proactive quality assurance culture.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven background as a Quality Engineer or QA Specialist in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Essential: Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings confidently.
- Strong familiarity with ISO 9001 environments (ISO 14001 is highly desirable)
- Ambitious, problem-solving mindset with a desire to step into a leadership role. Prior team management experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided.
