About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity leave cover. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a high-performing recruitment team, playing a key role in identifying, attracting, and securing top talent across technical, digital, engineering, data, and PMO disciplines.
As part of our sourcing function, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality recruitment solutions across both public and private sector clients, ensuring an exceptional experience for candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruitment across technical disciplines including IT, Engineering, Data, Digital, and PMO functions.

Partner with hiring managers to conduct detailed role scoping and job briefings, gaining a clear understanding of technical requirements and organisational needs.

Source, screen, assess, and shortlist candidates using a variety of sourcing channels and recruitment methodologies.

Conduct competency-based interviews and candidate assessments to evaluate technical capabilities, experience, and cultural fit.

Prepare high-quality candidate submissions, including CV summaries, assessment notes, and candidate packs.

Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive and professional candidate experience.

Coordinate interview scheduling and support candidates through the interview and offer process.

Build and maintain talent pipelines across key skill areas.

Ensure compliance with client requirements, procurement frameworks, and recruitment best practices.

Contribute to recruitment activities aligned with OGP Framework requirements, including technical and bid-related writing where required.

Monitor market trends and provide insights into talent availability, salary expectations, and competitor activity.
Skills & Experience
Essential
-
Minimum 5 years' recruitment experience, preferably within technical, IT, digital, engineering, or PMO recruitment.

Proven track record delivering recruitment solutions across both public and private sector clients.

Strong experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

Strong competency-based interviewing and candidate assessment capabilities.

Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of current IT and professional services recruitment market trends.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Desirable

Experience working with OGP Frameworks or similar public procurement frameworks.

Technical writing experience, particularly in relation to public sector recruitment submissions and framework requirements.

Experience recruiting across a broad range of PMO, governance, change management, and transformation roles.
