About the project: We are completing a purpose-built BPO headquarters in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental — a mid-rise building of roughly three to four occupiable floors plus a penthouse and roof deck. The structure is substantially advanced; our focus now is finishing the remaining structural items, the interior fit-out, and reaching occupancy of the lower floors so the facility can open.
The role:
We are seeking a licensed, hands-on project manager — a civil engineer or architect — to take over active management of the project from our outgoing PM and carry it through to completion. This is a project-based engagement. You will be our lead on the ground, coordinating contractors, protecting the owner's interests, and driving the schedule to the finish line while the owner is based in Canada.
What you'll own: - A clean, documented turnover from the outgoing project management team, including records, technical assessments, and the current status of all open items. - Coordination and accountability of the contractors — managing the structural contractor's remaining scope and the fit-out works. - Resolving outstanding structural and reconciliation matters with the respective parties. - A recovery schedule with clear milestones, verifying actual physical progress before any payment is released. - Regular, transparent reporting to the owner and investors, including photos and milestone verification. - Prioritizing occupancy of the lower floors as the first major target.
What we require: - Licensed civil engineer or architect, with proven experience managing building construction through to completion and occupancy. - Experience taking over an in-progress project — able to quickly read drawings, assess where things stand, and step in without a long ramp-up. - Strong contractor-management backbone — firm, fact-based, and accountability-focused, with sound judgment on protecting the owner contractually. - Willing to relocate to and be based on-site in San Carlos for the duration of the project; the Bacolod or Cebu area is acceptable for someone able to maintain a strong on-site presence. - Clear, professional communicator who reports proactively.
Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php70,000.00 per month
