Position Summary:
Encompass Therapy Center is hiring experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a center or home-based setting. BCBAs are responsible for developing Behavior Intervention Plans to decrease problem behaviors, and skill acquisition goals to increase socially appropriate behaviors which are implemented one-to-one with our Behavior Technicians. We are currently hiring a full-time BCBA to provide services at our West Branch location.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop ABA Intervention Plans for children with ASD focusing on communication, social, play, and adaptive skills
- Conduct descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments including functional analyses
- Provide supervision to our Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians
- Provide monthly Parent Trainings
- Maintain effective communication with team members and fellow supervisors
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Be able to lift 30-40 lbs. on a regular basis
- Create a fun, interactive and engaging environment for clients
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in ABA
- BACB Certification
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
