About the Role
Enderun Colleges is looking for a Financial Planning Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning and management reporting for the institution. You’ll report to the Commercial Finance Manager and work closely with Finance and business unit leaders across our Academic Programs, Extension School and support functions. Your work will help make sure plans are financially sound and that management has reliable numbers to make decisions with.
What You’ll Do
Cash Flow & Liquidity Planning
- Prepare and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts covering collections, payroll, operating and capital expenses, and debt service
- Track actual cash flows against projections, explain variances, and flag liquidity gaps or seasonal funding pressures
- Run scenario and sensitivity analyses on enrollment, collections and expenditures
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Coordinate and consolidate the annual operating budget with academic, commercial and administrative departments
- Build enrollment-driven revenue forecasts for degree programs and pipeline-driven forecasts for Extension School offerings
- Monitor performance against budget, explain key variances, and recommend forecast adjustments
Forward Financial Plans
- Prepare multi-year financial projections to support strategic planning and resource allocation
- Assess the financial impact of new programs, tuition changes, expansion plans and capital investments
- Present key assumptions, scenarios and risks to management
Management Reporting
- Prepare monthly management reports on revenue, expenses, profitability, variances and cash flow
- Build dashboards and KPIs to track financial performance against institutional targets
- Provide clear insights and recommendations to senior management
Data & Process Improvement
- Consolidate data from accounting systems, enrollment reports, payroll and departmental submissions, and reconcile it with Accounting
- Maintain well-documented financial models, assumptions and version-controlled files
- Standardize templates and find ways to automate recurring reports using ERP and BI tools
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics or Business Administration
- At least 5 years of experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting or management accounting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling
- Solid understanding of financial statements, cash flow analysis and management reporting
- Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools or BI platforms is an advantage
- Experience in education or a service-oriented business is preferred
- CPA license or financial modelling certification is a plus but not required
