Purpose of the Job
Manage the full project lifecycle for CSC transformation, continuous improvement, digital enablement and customer experience initiatives. Support the successful delivery of strategic projects through effective project management, change management, stakeholder engagement, implementation coordination and benefits realisation whilst ensuring alignment to business objectives and customer requirements.
What You'll Have Done Before
Minimum
- NQF Level 7 (Degree in Project Management, Business Management, Operations Management or related discipline )
- 5 years’ experience in Project Management Tools and Frameworks
- Experience in Data Analytics, Planning and Financial Management
- Experience with analytical tools and data visualization tools (Power BI etc.)
Advantageous
- Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment and navigate ambiguity
What You'll Be Doing
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Manage CSC projects and strategic initiatives in accordance with approved project management methodologies and governance requirements.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources and success measures.
- Conduct feasibility assessments and support development of business cases where required.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and implementation roadmaps.
- Coordinate project execution and monitor progress against agreed milestones.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and mitigation actions.
- Manage project scope changes through established governance processes.
- Facilitate project closure activities and post-implementation reviews
TRANSFORMATION & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT DELIVERY
- Support delivery of transformation and continuous improvement initiatives across CSC.
- Coordinate implementation activities arising from approved improvement programmes.
- Facilitate improvement workshops and stakeholder engagements where required
- Support process optimisation and simplification initiatives.
- Track implementation progress and realised business benefits.
- Escalate risks and issues that may impact successful delivery of initiatives.
CHANGE MANAGEMENT
- Apply structured change management methodologies to support successful implementation of projects and initiatives.
- Develop change management plans and stakeholder engagement approaches.
- Assess organisational readiness and identify adoption risks.
- Coordinate communication and engagement activities relating to project implementation.
- Monitor adoption, sustainability and effectiveness of implemented changes.
- Support leaders and stakeholders through periods of organisational change.
DIGITAL ENABLEMENT PROJECTS
- Support implementation of customer-facing digital solutions and technology initiatives.
- Coordinate activities relating to digital adoption and customer enablement.
- Support automation and self-service initiatives.
- Monitor digital adoption and utilisation following implementation.
- Identify and escalate barriers impacting successful digital adoption.
- Support business readiness activities relating to new technologies and digital platforms.
CUSTOMER JOURNEY & EXPERIENCE IMPROVEMENT
- Support customer journey mapping and customer experience improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate implementation of initiatives aimed at reducing customer effort and improving service outcomes.
- Gather and document customer and stakeholder requirements.
- Support development of solutions that enhance customer experience.
- Monitor customer impact and realised benefits following implementation.

- Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets.
- Support preparation of project cost estimates and business cases.
- Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and reduce costs.
- Track and report on realised project benefits.
- Monitor value delivery against approved business objectives.
- Support post-implementation benefit reviews.
INFORMATION MANAGEMENT & REPORTING
- Maintain project records, documentation and reporting artefacts.
- Prepare project status reports, dashboards and implementation updates.
- Collect, analyse and present project-related information.
- Develop presentations and reporting material for leadership and governance forums.
- Ensure reporting information is accurate, relevant and timeously distributed.
