We are seeking a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP/AX Consultant to lead functional architecture, solution design, and end-to-end execution of Order-to-Cash and Tax Management process streams, driving successful delivery across complex, multi-entity, multi-jurisdictional organizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery workshops, map complex business requirements to standard D365 capabilities, and perform comprehensive fit-gap analysis
- Author functional design documents (FDDs), process flowcharts, and technical specifications for D365 developers
- Provide functional governance for multi-currency, multi-entity, and multi-GAAP organizational structures
- Oversee Sales Order Processing, Quotation/Agreement Management, Pricing, Discounting, and Rebate Management
- Manage Credit & Collections, Shipping, Packing Slip & Delivery Processing activities
- Handle Sales Invoicing and Revenue Recognition in alignment with ASC 606/IFRS 15 standards
- Coordinate Customer Payments, Settlement, Prepayments, Returns & Allowances (RMA/Credit Notes)
- Administer Intercompany O2C processes, Commissions, and Tax Calculation Service configurations
- Configure Sales Tax Groups, Tax Codes, and support VAT/GST/HST Reporting, Intrastat, and EC Sales List submissions
- Manage Withholding Tax processes (TDS/TCS, 1099, WHT Certificates) and E-Invoicing Mandates (CFDI, FatturaPA, Peppol, ZATCA)
- Lead O2C and tax data migration strategies, including customer master data, open balances, and trade agreements using the Data Management Framework (DMF)
- Direct System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover planning, and post-go-live hypercare support
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365/AX functional consulting, with a focus on Order to Cash and Tax Management process streams
- Expertise in functional design documentation, process flowcharting, and technical specification authoring for D365 developers
- Proficiency in Sales Order Processing, Pricing/Discounting/Rebate Management, and Credit & Collections Management
- Knowledge of Sales Invoicing, Revenue Recognition (ASC 606/IFRS 15), and Intercompany O2C with Commissions
- Background in Tax Calculation Service configuration, Sales Tax Groups, and Country-Specific Localizations via RCS & Electronic Reporting (ER)
- Familiarity with VAT/GST/HST Reporting, Intrastat, EC Sales List, and Statutory Returns
- Understanding of Withholding Tax processes (TDS/TCS, 1099, WHT Certificates) and E-Invoicing Mandates (CFDI, FatturaPA, Peppol, ZATCA)
- Skills in Third-Party Tax Engine Integration, including Vertex and Avalara
- Competency in Data Management Framework (DMF) for data migration strategies, including customer master data and historical tax transactions
- Capability to lead System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover planning, and hypercare support
