We are seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our team and support vendor-driven trading platforms in a dynamic financial services environment. In this role, you will contribute to platform enhancements, regulatory reporting, and automation initiatives while collaborating closely with business users, developers, and vendors to ensure seamless operations across our trading ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Support vendor-driven platforms, including enhancements, troubleshooting, and technical change management
- Analyze platform changes and escalate issues to vendors as required
- Contribute to ultra-low latency platform initiatives, trading platform enhancements, and exchange-related changes
- Participate in regulatory and reporting work, including pre- and post-trade risk reporting, and support design and implementation activities
- Assist with UBS-driven technical changes, such as TRR (Trade Reporting Requirements) and security updates
- Operate in a landscape that is approximately 95% vendor-driven, requiring strong vendor management and communication skills
- Develop and maintain in-house Python scripts to support automation and data processing needs
- Handle static data management, ensuring data integrity and accuracy across platforms
- Collaborate with business users, application SMEs, developers, and test managers to investigate incidents, bugs, and support testing activities
- Support non-functional testing requirements for infrastructure upgrades and platform changes
- Create automated monitoring solutions for application readiness using UI/API testing tools
- Identify process gaps in test monitoring and recommend improvements by leveraging available tools
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in technical engineering, business analysis, or similar roles within financial services, trading, or exchange environments
- Strong understanding of vendor-driven platforms and experience in vendor management
- Hands-on experience with Python scripting for automation and data processing
- Familiarity with trading platforms, ultra-low latency systems, and exchange-related workflows
- Experience with regulatory and risk reporting, including pre- and post-trade requirements
- Good knowledge of static data management and data integrity practices
- Ability to analyze technical changes, troubleshoot issues, and escalate to vendors effectively
- Experience supporting technical changes, infrastructure upgrades, and security updates
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams
- English proficiency at B2 level or above

- Experience in financial services, wealth management, or private banking environments
- Exposure to test automation tools and UI/API testing solutions
- Familiarity with risk management and regulatory compliance in trading environments
- Experience with incident management and root cause analysis
