What you will be doing:
- Building and scaling Python services that power our flight dynamics pipelines
- Optimizing and refactoring existing systems for performance and maintainability
- Building internal tools and dashboards for mission operations
- Coordinate with multiple teams across the company (FSW, AIT, Mission Ops, etc.) to gather requirements and feature requests to be implemented
What you bring to this role:
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, or similar)
- Strong Python skills with a server-side framework (Django, FastAPI, or similar)
- Worked with relational databases (Postgres) and data stores like S3 or InfluxDB
- Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems (Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or similar)
- Comfortable working in codebases with domain-specific complexity
Bonus:
- Charting libraries for telemetry visualization (Chart.js, Plotly, Grafana)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Exposure to aerospace, satellite operations, or orbital mechanics concepts
