Summary of Duties
ETG Digital is seeking a Software Developer with expertise in Salesforce Platform and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have broad expertise with multiple Salesforce solutions and experience in related capabilities and GTM (go-to-market) commercial platforms. Responsibilities include analyzing project objectives, designing and building custom solutions, creating custom workflows, and troubleshooting errors.
Essential Job Functions
- Solve complex business problems through appropriate combinations of configuration, custom coding (Apex, JavaScript) and integrations.
- Utilizes Salesforce programming, including Visualforce pages, Lightning pages, and Lightning Web Components.
- Develops Apex classes and triggers, Visualforce pages, and other components based on requirements.
- Uses Salesforce automation tools such as Flows, Process Builder, Workflows, and Einstein Orchestrator.
- Uses Salesforce APIs to integrate with other organizational systems including collaboration with Enterprise IT for custom Boomi integrations
- Integrates business applications connected through Managed Packages
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure downstream alignment for fulfillment, accounting and enterprise reporting.
- Collaborate with IT leadership and business partners to ensure development is fit-for-purpose
- Adheres to Salesforce best practices, maintains code documentation, and writes/maintains test classes for all custom development.
- Uses DevOps tools such as Copado and Azure ADO.
- Resolves complex technical support issues for internal users by understanding requests, triaging solutions, and independently solving problems.
- Remains current with Salesforce technologies and best practices.
Marginal Duties
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge of
- Managing Salesforce data, including SOQL or SQL, and at least six months of experience with the Salesforce APEX Data Loader.
- CPQ, RCA/RCB, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Force.com tools and applications.
- Lightning Components using the Lightning Design System framework, Apex, Apex Data Loader, and declarative platform tools (Process Builder, Visual Workflow, Lightning App Builder, etc.).
- Experience with emerging SFDC capabilities strongly preferred, especially Agentforce and Slack.
- Boomi and Salesforce integration preferred.
- Experience with other enterprise-class GTM platforms strongly preferred including (but not limited to) Eloqua, Aviso, Gainsight and Gong.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Experience
Four years of related experience, including a minimum of two years of experience with customization on the Salesforce Lightning platform. Equivalent work‑related experience resulting in acceptable proficiency levels may substitute for the required education and experience.
