Your responsibilities - depending on your area of expertise:
- Developing, integrating and operating unmanned systems for land, air, underwater and surface applications
- Contributing to the design and implementation of multi-domain system architectures
- Integrating platforms, sensor systems, command-and-control architectures and mission software into high-performance overall systems
- Analysing and further developing existing systems with regard to interoperability, scalability and operational readiness
- Supporting the entire system lifecycle – from initial concept and integration through to long-term operation
- Working closely with national and international customers from the defence, security and industrial sectors
- Preparing technical documentation, specifications and operational reports
- Conducting and supporting studies and customer projects
Your profile
- Completed degree or vocational training in engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace engineering, systems engineering or a comparable discipline
- Knowledge and initial experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Unmanned systems (UAS, UGV, USV, UUV)
- Systems integration and systems architecture
- Mission software and command-and-control systems (C2)
- Sensors, data processing and communications technologies
- Defence and security technologies
- Experience with commonly used engineering tools and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) is an advantage
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations in the defence or security sector is desirable
- Enthusiasm for innovative technologies and complex, safety- and security-critical systems
- Structured, self-reliant and solution-oriented approach to work
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, including in interdisciplinary and international teams
- Willingness to undergo the required security clearance process
