Based in Hamburg, Germany, the Regional Sales & Business Development Manager (H/F) will join Exail’s international sales organization. Exail is seeking an experienced Regional Sales & Business Development Manager to accelerate its growth across Eastern Europe.
1/Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the regional sales budget
- Support and develop existing clients through visits, phone calls and exhibitions.
- Proactively develop new business opportunities
- Lead tender and pre-qualification submissions
- Negotiate commercial terms and contracts
- Prepare and carry out technical sales presentations with the help of BDM's and product managers.
- Liaise with the technical teams and Exail divisions on project requirements.
- Represent Exail at customer events, conferences and trade shows
- Key markets include land defense & naval navigation, autonomous systems
- Willingness to travel extensively across the region
- Reporting line: Regional sales director
2/Sales Planning, Forecasting & CRM

Deliver regular and accurate reporting and forecasting.

Maintain up-to-date customer records and sales database in the CRM

Build and manage an efficient Sales Action Plan.

Prepare customer and project mapping for complex sales and tenders.

Business/Sciences/Engineering degree (or similar)

At least 10 years of sales experience in similar environment

Fluency in German & English. Additional language is an advantage.

Ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally.

Strong listening, communication and teamwork skills, combined with strategic thinking, curiosity, enthusiasm and tenacity.
