EZETech LLC (ezetech.com) is an IT and cybersecurity firm in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, founded in 2012. We provide managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, Microsoft licensing, VoIP, web, and AI services. We are looking for experienced independent network engineers for project work at client sites.
Responsibilities (scope of work)
- Design, deploy, and troubleshoot client networks on a per-project basis
- Configure routing and switching across multi-site environments
- Deploy and manage firewalls and site-to-site/remote-access VPNs
- Plan and implement wireless networks
- Document configurations and hand off completed work to the EZETech team and client
Requirements
- 10+ years of network engineering experience
- Strong routing, switching, firewall, VPN, and wireless skills
- Willingness to travel to client sites
- Ability to scope and deliver projects independently
- Clear communication with clients
Nice to have
- UniFi/Ubiquiti experience
- Fortinet, Meraki, or Cisco certifications
- MSP or multi-client consulting background
- Network security experience
Compensation and engagement terms
- Independent 1099 contractor engagement; this is not an employment position
- Part-time, project-based: you accept or decline projects and set your own methods and hours within the agreed scope and deadline; travel to client sites is part of most projects
- Rate: Competitive, discussed during the interview based on experience and project scope.
