ASSOCIATE FUND PRINCIPAL – PRIVATE EQUITY Location: Pretoria, Gauteng Industry: Investment Management / Private Equity
We are seeking an experienced Private Equity Investment Professional to join a leading investment management organisation. The successful candidate will support the strategic management of private equity investments, identify investment opportunities and lead end-to-end investment transactions.
Key Responsibilities

Identify, assess and execute private equity investment opportunities.

Lead deal screening, investment appraisal, structuring and negotiations.

Conduct financial modelling, valuations and investment due diligence.

Develop investment strategies and manage investment portfolios.

Prepare investment proposals and investment theses.
-
Drive value creation within investee companies and manage investment exits.
-
Ensure compliance with investment governance, risk management and ESG requirements.
Minimum Requirements
-
5–8 years' relevant investment experience, preferably within Private Equity.

Degree in Finance, Engineering, Commerce or a related field.

Postgraduate qualification (MBA, MCom, MSc, CA, CFA or relevant Master's degree), completed or in progress.

FAIS Representative status.

Proven experience in deal structuring, transaction execution and investment negotiations.

Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills.

Strong understanding of investment due diligence, portfolio management and investment risk.
Important: Candidates must demonstrate hands-on investment transaction experience, including deal evaluation, structuring and execution.
