Job Summary

The Assistant Manager – HR \& Administration is responsible for managing day\-to\-day human resource operations and administrative functions of the organization. The role ensures smooth execution of recruitment, employee lifecycle management, statutory compliance, employee engagement, performance management, and office administration while maintaining a productive, disciplined, and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities Human Resources

* Handle end\-to\-end recruitment, including manpower planning, sourcing, screening, interviews, selection, offer release, and onboarding. * Prepare appointment letters, confirmation letters, promotion letters, transfer letters, warning letters, and other HR documentation. * Maintain employee records, personal files, attendance, leave, and HRIS/ERP data accurately. * Coordinate induction and orientation programs for new employees. * Monitor probation, confirmations, and employee performance reviews. * Implement and monitor Key Result Areas (KRAs) and Performance Management Systems (PMS). * Develop and execute employee engagement, welfare, and retention initiatives. * Handle employee grievances and support disciplinary procedures as per company policy. * Conduct exit interviews and complete full\-and\-final settlement formalities. * Prepare HR reports, MIS, dashboards, and manpower analysis for management.

Payroll \& Statutory Compliance

* Coordinate monthly payroll inputs with the accounts/payroll team. * Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and statutory regulations. * Coordinate PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, Labour Welfare Fund, and other statutory requirements. * Maintain statutory registers and support labour inspections and audits. * Ensure timely renewal of statutory licenses and records.

Administration

* Supervise housekeeping, security, transport, pantry, and office maintenance activities. * Ensure smooth functioning of office infrastructure and facilities. * Manage office assets, stationery, uniforms, ID cards, and administrative inventory. * Coordinate with vendors and service providers for facility management. * Monitor AMC schedules, office maintenance, and utility services. * Ensure workplace discipline, safety, and cleanliness.

Policy \& Process Management

* Develop, implement, and update HR and administrative policies. * Ensure adherence to SOPs and organizational policies. * Support ISO audits and maintain HR\-related documentation. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives within HR and Administration.

Training \& Development

* Identify training needs in consultation with department heads. * Organize internal and external training programs. * Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness.

Other Responsibilities

* Support management in organizational development initiatives. * Prepare presentations, reports, and HR analytics for leadership review. * Perform any other HR or administrative responsibilities assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

* MBA/PGDM in Human Resource Management or equivalent. * Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

Experience

* 5–8 years of relevant experience in HR \& Administration. * Experience in a manufacturing industry will be preferred.

* Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliances. * Recruitment and talent acquisition expertise. * Payroll coordination and HR operations. * Performance Management System (PMS) and KRA implementation. * Employee relations and conflict resolution. * Administration and facility management. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong leadership and team management abilities. * Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, HRMS/ERP software. * Strong analytical, organizational, and problem\-solving skills.
