Key Responsibilities
- Financial & Margin Analysis: Review and evaluate sales proposals, pricing frameworks, and commercial contracts to protect and maximize gross margins.
- Inventory & Demand Planning: Assist in managing inventory levels to maintain high product availability for healthcare clients while minimizing holding costs and aged stock.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Partner with the sales and finance teams to build accurate sales, stock, and demand forecasts.
- Sales Intelligence & Reporting: Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards (Power BI) that track sales pipeline performance, client accounts, and revenue targets.
- Business Case Preparation: Research, model, and prepare formal business cases for new product lines, distribution agreements, and operational investments.
- Cross-Functional System Liaison: Act as the translator between business requirements and technical execution, working with IT to maximize our ERP capabilities.
Your Profile
To be successful in this role, you will possess a unique blend of technical IT prowess and strong financial literacy:
- Financial Acumen: A deep understanding of commercial finance, including gross margins, variance analysis, pricing elasticity, and inventory accounting.
- Advanced IT & Data Skills: Expert-level mastery of Advanced Excel (Power Query, modelling, macros) and data visualization tools like Power BI.
- System Exposure: Hands-on experience navigating major ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and other platforms (e.g. Planning Analytics and Power BI).
- The "Bridge" Mentality: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to talk data with IT, margins with Finance, and strategy with the Sales team.
- Industry Experience: 3–5 years of experience in a Commercial Analyst, Financial Analyst, or Operations BA role. Experience within inventory-based distribution (Medical Devices, Pharma, or FMCG) is highly desirable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
