Fit Vehicle Parts, Inc. is seeking a management consultant for Luckis AI Ranch to help turn an early-stage vision into a practical pilot plan and a workable management structure. We value people who can manage across cultures, make responsibilities clear and follow decisions through to results.
The initiative brings together nature, people and animals, and shared creation. It is currently at the concept and pre-pilot stage. A first pilot is proposed for Southern California; the first property and site have not been selected. The design principle is that AI helps organize information and tasks while people make decisions, and supervised robotics may support repetitive care activities. These are development goals to be tested through carefully scoped work.
You will work with Yang Liang to assess what is ready, identify what must be resolved and prepare the people, responsibilities and practical conditions for an authorized pilot.
Why this work matters
The ambition is to give people more time for the parts of life they care about: nature, animals, shared knowledge and meaningful work. Your management experience can help turn that idea into a clear, testable plan with accountable people and realistic resources. We welcome people who feel drawn to the direction, offer independent judgment and want to build a lasting collaboration through useful results.
Engagement terms
Contracting entity: Fit Vehicle Parts, Inc.
Compensation: $40–$60 USD per hour.
This consultancy is based in Schiller Park, Illinois, in the Chicago area, with a hybrid arrangement involving on-site collaboration and coordination with Ontario, California, and China as relevant. On-site frequency and any travel arrangements will be agreed for the project. Flexible scheduling by mutual agreement, with on-site attendance as agreed. Longer-term cooperation may be discussed after the initial paid project if both parties find the engagement suitable and the results support continued work.
What you will do
- Establish a clear baseline of the project's scope, resources, prospective partners and outstanding decisions, distinguishing confirmed facts from assumptions.
- Design responsibilities, decision rights and communication routines for proposed US and China workstreams, including handoffs, feedback, delegation and escalation.
- Lead pilot-readiness planning with prospective property owners and relevant specialists: identify the area, tasks, responsible people, resources and conditions that would need approval before work starts.
- Develop a simple method to record time, costs, reliability and care outcomes, with clear review points and recommendations to continue, adjust or pause.
- Turn discussions into accountable actions and help resolve disagreements that prevent useful progress.
What you bring
- Practical experience managing US–China teams, with examples of the people, decisions and results you personally led.
- The ability to create workable operating plans, budgets and responsibilities in an early-stage or changing environment.
- Evidence of effective feedback, delegation, conflict resolution and cross-cultural communication.
- Sound judgment about priorities, available resources and what needs specialist input or further validation.
Please be prepared to discuss a relevant management case, including your actual authority, actions, outcomes and lessons learned. Anonymized examples are welcome; confidential former-employer information is not requested.
Proposed initial paid engagement
We suggest a scoped 2–4 week pilot-readiness project. Deliverables would include a verified project baseline, a responsibility and decision map, a pilot brief identifying the proposed area and tasks, and a prioritized action plan with resource and budget assumptions. The brief should define how time, cost, reliability and care results would be recorded and reviewed. Scope, the hourly rate within the stated range, time commitment, project budget, authority, acceptance criteria and deliverable rights will be agreed before work begins.
