Fit Vehicle Parts, Inc. is seeking a hands-on management consultant for Trade Center, a developing FIT GROUP initiative, to help build effective ways of working between U.S. and China-based teams and partners. You will work with Yang Liang on practical U.S. market-entry services, including product presentation, buyer appointments, channel development and fulfillment coordination. Los Angeles is in development, and Chicago is progressing through pilot collaboration; specific premises and available services remain subject to confirmation.

WORK ARRANGEMENT AND PAY
The primary work base is 9950 Lawrence Ave, Schiller Park, IL 60176, in the Chicago area. This is a hybrid consulting role requiring on-site collaboration, with coordination involving Ontario, California, and China-based contributors. Pay is $40-$60 per hour. Flexible scheduling is available by mutual agreement, with on-site attendance as agreed. Any travel arrangements will be agreed separately.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Assess responsibilities, decision-making and coordination between U.S. and China-based contributors, using interviews and evidence from actual work.
- Establish clear ownership, realistic work plans, regular reviews, constructive feedback and escalation procedures.
- Support managers with delegation, team development and resolution of cross-cultural or operational disagreements.
- Help define a focused brand-service pilot, including deliverables, staffing, product information, samples, appointments, costs and accountability.
- Clarify handoffs among brand partners, China-based product and supply-chain contributors, U.S. local operations and logistics providers.
- Follow approved work through implementation, document results and recommend whether a pilot should continue, change or pause.
- Provide independent judgment and explain trade-offs to Yang Liang and the relevant business owners.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Demonstrated experience managing U.S.-China teams or implementing management improvements across the two markets.
- Actual management cases explaining your responsibility and authority, actions, measurable results and lessons from what did not work.
- Practical experience with role design, feedback, delegation and conflict resolution.
- Sound judgment about customer commitments, delivery resources, service costs and accountability.
- The ability to work across time zones and communicate effectively with English- and Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
- Experience in B2B services, distribution, brand market entry or supply-chain operations is helpful.
INITIAL COLLABORATION
An initial paid consulting project may be used to define and test the collaboration. A possible starting assignment is to map team responsibilities and prepare one focused brand-service pilot, including a practical workflow, verified resource needs, a cost outline and a review process.
Scope, total hours, schedule, access to information, deliverables and decision authority will be agreed before work begins. If there is mutual fit and the project results support it, we are open to discussing long-term collaboration. We welcome constructive challenge and do not expect extended unpaid consulting work during recruitment.
