Fit Vehicle Parts, Inc. is seeking a hands-on US Operations Manager to work with Yang Liang on operating plans, team accountability and execution between the US and China. The initial focus is heavy-duty truck parts and distribution. You will turn priorities into clear responsibilities, reliable operating information and completed work, while providing independent judgment when a plan needs to change.
ABOUT FIT GROUP
FIT GROUP is developing a US-centered business supported by product and supply-chain capabilities in China. Our immediate commercial priority is heavy-duty truck parts and distribution, with a focus on reliable product information, quality, delivery and customer support. We are also planning Trade Center services to help brands explore US market opportunities through product presentation, appointments and channel development. Automation and smart equipment are an incubation area, advanced through customer validation, demonstrations, delivery and service planning, and budget reviews. Shared product, supply-chain, finance, digital and people capabilities support these developing areas. We value people who take responsibility, offer independent judgment and turn plans into practical results.
WORK ARRANGEMENT AND ENGAGEMENT
This role is based in Ontario, California, in the Greater Los Angeles area, with a hybrid work arrangement. We are open to starting with a paid consulting engagement, part-time employment, or a full-time role. The initial advertised pay range is $40-$60 per hour. Scope, schedule, on-site expectations, authority and compensation will be agreed before work begins.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Translate business priorities into operating plans with owners, budgets, deadlines and regular reviews.
- Work with commercial, product, supply-chain and finance counterparts to understand customers, margin, cash collection, inventory, delivery and after-sales issues.
- Establish clear responsibilities, practical feedback and delegation, and consistent follow-through across US and China teams.
- Personally resolve important operating problems, explain trade-offs and escalate decisions outside your agreed authority.
- Help assess proposed Trade Center and automation projects against actual customer needs, available resources and approved budgets.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Examples of operating results you personally owned, including your role, decision authority, actions and measurable outcomes.
- Experience leading people, giving useful feedback, handling disagreements and delegating responsibility.
- Sound judgment about customer commitments, profit, cash, inventory and delivery.
- The ability to organize incomplete information, make priorities clear and work effectively across time zones.
- A willingness to explain what did not work and challenge assumptions constructively. Relevant distribution, truck-parts, automotive or industrial-supply experience is useful.
YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS
In the first 30 days, verify the operating baseline and responsibilities: customers, products, margin, collection, inventory, delivery and current team ownership. Identify the most important gaps and agree on a practical plan with Yang.
By day 60, establish a regular operating review and complete one approved improvement involving a real customer, delivery or coordination problem. Track actions, decisions and results against the agreed baseline.
By day 90, review operating results and team feedback, explain changes and remaining issues, and propose the next quarter's priorities, resource needs and responsibilities. Specific targets will reflect verified conditions and the agreed operating scope.
HOW TO APPLY
Apply through Indeed with your resume and a brief example of an operating or team problem you personally resolved. Describe your contribution and result without sharing a former employer's confidential information. A separate FIT talent-network registration is optional and is not required to apply for this role.
