The Inventory Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing company inventory across all storage facilities and distribution channels. This role focuses on maintaining optimal stock levels, minimizing carrying costs, mitigating stockouts or overstock scenarios, and ensuring high inventory accuracy through data-driven reporting and reconciliation.
- Monitor and analyze daily inventory movements, stock levels, turn rates, and order fulfillment metrics.
- Maintain reorder points, safety stock calculations, and lead-time assumptions using statistical demand forecasting models.
- Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess stock (SLOB) and recommend liquidation, discount, or reallocation strategies.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on inventory discrepancies, shrinkage, and stockout events.
- Partner with Procurement to adjust purchase order timing based on inventory velocity and lead-time variations.
- Work with Warehouse Operations to standardize receiving, storage, and cycle counting procedures.
- Collaborate with Sales & Demand Planning to incorporate upcoming promotions, seasonality, and product launches into stock projections.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- at least 4 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain analytics, or logistics data analysis.
Technical Skills
- ERP/WMS: Hands-on experience with systems such as SAP, Naysa, ERP or other related system
- Data Visualization: Proficiency in building executive reports.
- Excel / SQL: Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, complex formulas) and SQL query building for data extraction.
Pay: Php240,000.00 - Php300,000.00 per year
