Duties
- Conduct comprehensive variance analysis reporting to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial projection models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Prepare clear and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS standards.
- Perform detailed account analysis using advanced Excel data analysis techniques to ensure accuracy in financial reporting systems.
- Support regulatory reporting requirements by ensuring compliance with SOX controls and other relevant standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business intelligence initiatives to enhance data-driven decision-making processes.
- Interpret complex financial concepts related to profit & loss statements, cost accounting, pricing strategies, and investment analysis to inform executive decisions.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role within corporate finance or public accounting environments.
- Extensive knowledge of financial accounting systems, financial software, and business intelligence tools.
- Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, regulatory reporting standards, and technical accounting principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial model development, forecasting analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Experience with SOX compliance processes and internal control frameworks is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Exceptional data analysis skills combined with strong communication abilities for effective financial report writing and interpretation.
