Summary of the Job:

The Intern role will help the Content Marketing team achieve their goal of creating sought-after content that adds value to both customers and prospects. This work may include applying knowledge to solve complex problems related to marketing events and sponsorships, FNBO brand design and promotions, social media, campaigns and creative work.

About This Role:

  • Capture content and storytelling support
  • Assist in capturing behind-the-scenes content at events including volunteer or intern events
  • Help identify and pitch intern stories for spotlight features
  • Proactive social engagement
  • Visit TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook daily to proactively comment on posts
  • Visit social channels to interact/engage with comments on FNBO posts or posts FNBO is tagged in
  • TikTok ideation and filming
  • Instagram story ideation and execution
  • Post ideation for Threads
  • Help create rules for social media contests and work with legal for approvals
  • Recommend trends that would be appropriate for the bank to execute on
  • Review competitor social media and gather insights on content you feel works well
  • Community and risk awareness
  • Monitor for sensitive or high-risk topics
  • Develop an understanding of reputational risk and when not to engage

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Qualifications Include

  • Very strong familiarity with the functions of Facebook, Threads, Instagram, TikTok and emerging social platforms. Graphic design experience a plus.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to grammar and sentence structure.
  • A proactive, self-starter who works well in a collaborative, team environment.
  • Quick learner who can learn and adapt new organizational processes and changing business demands.

Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Work Environment:

It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you'll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays. We provide the tools and technology to ensure seamless transitions between work environments, supporting your productivity wherever you are. Please note that work location is subject to change based on business needs.
