Job Summary
CE Agrodex Food & Supply Chain Ltd is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Food Production Manager to oversee food manufacturing operations, optimise production processes, and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality food products. This role is ideal for a production leader with strong operational, quality assurance, and team management experience who can drive efficiency, maintain food safety standards, and support business growth.
What You'll Do
- Manage daily food production operations to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective manufacturing.
- Plan production schedules, allocate resources, and optimise workflow to meet customer demand and business objectives.
- Supervise production supervisors, line leaders, operators, and quality teams.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP standards, health and safety policies, and quality management systems.
- Monitor production KPIs, output, waste reduction, equipment performance, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, warehouse, logistics, quality assurance, and maintenance teams.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce production costs.
- Oversee inventory usage, raw material availability, and finished goods management.
- Investigate production issues, equipment downtime, and quality concerns while implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare operational reports, production forecasts, performance analyses, and strategic recommendations for senior management.
Requirements
- Experience in food production, food manufacturing, FMCG operations, production management, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous supervisory or production management experience within the food manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, GMP, quality assurance, and manufacturing best practices.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage production schedules, multiple priorities, operational targets, and manufacturing teams.
- Experience using ERP systems, Microsoft Office, production planning software, inventory management systems, and reporting platforms.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to improve operational efficiency, product quality, and cost performance.
- Relevant qualifications in Food Science, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Engineering, or related disciplines are advantageous.
