- Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through startup and certification.
- Assess and evaluate production processes by taking accurate measurements and interpreting data.
- Design and implement innovative processes, systems, and solutions to enhance production rates and output quality.
- Manage the introduction of new products and processes into the production environment for mass production.
- Maintain and reduce production costs and time constraints to ensure efficient operations.
- Perform risk assessments to identify potential failures in the production process through PFMEA/DFMEA.
- Review design for manufacturability (ease of assembly), 2D Review, 3D Review, develop BOM, assembly chronology, and prepare standard work instructions.
Requirements
Educational Qualification:
- Minimum Diploma (D3/D4) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
- Experience in process simulations and various manufacturing systems and improvements such as Kaizen, lean manufacturing, PFMEA, and PDCA.
Technical Skills:
- Have an understanding of new product development processes.
- Have the ability to analyze statistical data.
- Have the ability to use CAD/CAM (Experience with Solidworks or Onshape is a plus).
- Have knowledge of process-related standards and health-safety regulations.
- Have a working knowledge of using process engineering software.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills in English, both oral and written.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
