Job Overview
As a Founding Engineer, Applied AI, you’ll shape how AI moves from promising ideas into reliable, useful products. You’ll build and deploy machine learning systems, guide technical decisions, and work across data, models, and product implementation. Duties
- Design, build, train, evaluate, and deploy AI models, including generative AI and natural language processing applications.
- Develop scalable data pipelines and systems using Python, SQL, ETL (extract, transform, load), database design, and SQL databases.
- Apply machine learning, unsupervised learning, predictive modeling, statistical modeling, and statistical analysis to research and product challenges.
- Implement and operate solutions with AWS, machine learning cloud services, machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, and big data systems such as Spark and Hadoop.
- Establish practical approaches to AI implementation, model evaluation, data analytics, data mining, and machine learning/AI-based analysis.
Qualifications
- Experience building and deploying machine learning or AI models, with strong Python and SQL skills.
- Knowledge of model training, statistical analysis tools, analytics, and scalable data systems; familiarity with linked data is useful.
- Additional technologies that may be relevant include Java, C, R, SAS, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), Talend, Looker, and Spark implementation.
- Familiarity with quantum engineering is a plus; it is not required for the core applied AI work.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
