**ABOUT THE ROLE**
**The technical anchor of the HealthOS build. You will own the architecture, set the engineering standards, and mentor the development team as we ship the core Hospital Management System, the patient app and the AI layer — and take them live across our first five anchor hospitals.**
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Own the end\-to\-end architecture of the HealthOS platform — microservices, APIs, data models and key technology decisions. * Lead design and hands\-on development of core modules: HMS (OPD/IPD/ICU), EMR, patient app and third\-party integrations. * Set coding standards, run code reviews, and ensure security, scalability, performance and reliability. * Establish CI/CD, automated testing and DevOps practices, and oversee cloud infrastructure. * Ensure HL7 FHIR interoperability and ABDM / ABHA integration. * Embed Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act compliance — data security, audit logging and access control. * Mentor and unblock the full\-stack developers; drive sprint planning and on\-time delivery. * Partner with the Healthcare Domain Expert and founders to turn requirements into robust technical solutions.
**REQUIREMENTS**
* 6\+ years building and shipping production web/mobile applications, including system\-design and architecture experience. * Strong command of a modern backend stack (Node.js, Python, Java or Go), microservices, and both relational and NoSQL databases. * Working knowledge of frontend (React) and/or mobile (Flutter / React Native). * Cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP), Docker, CI/CD and solid API design. * Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring; comfortable owning delivery in a fast\-moving startup.
**PREFERRED**
* Health\-tech, HMS or EMR experience; familiarity with HL7 FHIR and ABDM. * Security and compliance exposure (DPDP, ISO 27001\). * Has built and scaled a product from scratch.
