AI & Automation Specialist — Part-time
£30 per hour | 4 hours per week
Tuesday and Thursday: two hours each day, with session times to be agreed.
Office-based at Whinfield, Ulverston LA12 0LE.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We operate multiple venues across Liverpool and Cumbria and are looking for a practical, technically confident person to work directly alongside the business owner at our Whinfield office in Ulverston.
We already have an active AI and automation setup. You’ll help maintain it, solve problems and expand what it can do across our venues. The focus is on useful, reliable improvements to the systems we actually use every day.
OUR SETUP
Our main AI tools are Claude and Grok Bot. We also use Manus, Codex, Zapier and Google Sheets.
The wider business workflows involve Gmail, respond.io for WhatsApp/customer communications, and Eventbrite and Fatsoma for ticketing. These support work such as customer enquiries, bookings, guest lists, rotas and operational reporting.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Work alongside the owner to understand and improve the existing setup.
- Help develop and maintain Claude and Grok Bot workflows, working with Manus and Codex where needed.
- Build and troubleshoot Zapier automations and Google Sheets workflows.
- Connect our existing business systems through APIs and small scripts where needed.
- Investigate failed tasks, check results against the source systems and improve reliability.
- Help turn new ideas into working tools that save time across our venues.
- Keep clear notes and handle business data and account access carefully.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Hands-on experience building useful AI workflows and automations, with examples you can show us.
- Confidence working with Claude and the ability to get up to speed with our Grok Bot setup.
- Practical experience with Zapier and Google Sheets, including troubleshooting connected workflows.
- Ability to work with APIs and read or adapt scripts when needed.
- Familiarity with Manus and Codex would be useful. Tell us which of our tools you’ve used and what you built with them.
- Clear communication, a methodical approach to checking work and availability to attend our Whinfield office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
You don’t need prior experience with every venue or ticketing system. We’re interested in practical evidence that you can understand our setup and make it work better. Relevant experience matters more than a particular degree or job title.
