Overview
Create engaging, accessible digital experiences as a Web Designer/Developer. You’ll combine visual design, user experience (UX), and front-end development to build and maintain responsive websites, e-commerce experiences, and digital content. Your impact: By turning user needs into clear, usable web experiences, you help visitors find information and complete tasks across devices.
Duties
- Design page layouts, interfaces, logos, and motion graphics; develop wireframes and prototypes to guide reviews.
- Build and update websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal.
- Apply responsive web design, web accessibility, search engine optimization (SEO), and usability principles throughout production.
- Maintain website content and functionality; use analytics and data analysis to identify opportunities to improve the experience.
- Collaborate on digital marketing and email projects, including e-commerce and campaign content.
Requirements
- Essential: Demonstrated web design and development skills, including visual design, interaction design, typography, information architecture, and front-end development.
- Essential: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, website maintenance, accessibility in interaction design, and responsive design.
- Preferred: Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, and After Effects), Sketch, Axure, InVision, Balsamiq, UXPin, or Visio.
- Preferred: Exposure to frameworks and technologies such as React, Angular, Node.js, Redux, Bootstrap, SCSS, Less, AJAX, PHP, Python, SQL, MySQL, Git, Telerik, SharePoint, or React Express.
- Helpful: Experience with Google Analytics, Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics, web analytics, Mailchimp, professional art or design, graphic design software, and mobile design.
Pay: $33.57 - $40.43 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
