GCB Doors & Windows is a growing family business supplying aluminium windows, doors and screens across South East Queensland. We’re looking for a capable, hands-on person to take charge of warehouse operations and help keep our customer service and delivery operation running smoothly every day.
This is an all-round operations role for someone practical, responsible and proactive. You’ll take pride in keeping the warehouse organised, supporting the team, dealing with issues as they arise, and making sure customers receive a helpful, professional experience.
Key responsibilities
- Take charge of day-to-day warehouse operations, including stock, tools, work areas, cleanliness and organisation
- Help lead and support warehouse activities, set priorities and keep work moving
- Coordinate with and support the delivery driver to keep deliveries efficient and on track
- Assist with loading, unloading and delivering aluminium windows and doors when required
- Prepare flyscreens, reveals and other accessories using hand and basic power tools
- Receive, organise and check incoming stock
- Assist with missing items, returns, factory reworks and damaged or incorrect products
- Handle customer service and service-related issues, keeping customers informed and helping find a solution
- Attend customer sites when needed to inspect minor issues or assist with straightforward screen and product fixes
- Drive the company’s manual ute for deliveries or site visits when required
About you
- Practical, hands-on and confident using hand and basic power tools
- Comfortable with the physical nature of the role, including safe lifting, loading and handling of doors, windows and screens
- Experience in warehouse operations, trade supply, building products, deliveries, construction or a similar hands-on role
- Organised, reliable and willing to take responsibility
- Confident communicating with customers and working alongside a small team
- A current manual driver’s licence is essential
- Window, door or screen experience is helpful, but not essential
