We are looking for a Junior ERP Test Automation Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in software testing and automation. The candidate will work with the automation team to develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases for ERP and enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate should have basic to intermediate knowledge of test automation and scripting, with exposure to tools such as Worksoft Certify, Tricentis Tosca, Selenium, Playwright, and Python.
The candidate will work closely with senior automation engineers and functional teams and will have opportunities to develop expertise in ERP automation and enterprise application testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated test cases under the guidance of senior automation engineers.
- Work with Worksoft Certify, Tricentis Tosca, or similar automation tools.
- Create and maintain automation scripts using Python, Playwright, Selenium, or similar technologies.
- Execute functional and regression automation suites.
- Analyze automation execution results and report failures and defects.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of automation failures.
- Collaborate with senior testers, developers, functional consultants, and business analysts.
- Support testing of SAP and other enterprise applications.
- Assist with API testing using REST/SOAP.
- Support test data preparation and data-driven testing.
- Update automation scripts when application changes occur.
- Maintain test cases and execution results in qTest, Jira, ALM, or similar tools.
- Participate in automation framework improvements and reusable component development.
- Follow established automation standards, coding practices, and testing processes.
- Learn and adopt new automation technologies and best practices.
Required Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in software testing or test automation.
- Basic hands-on experience with any test automation tool.
- Exposure to Worksoft Certify, Tricentis Tosca, Selenium, or similar tools.
- Basic knowledge of Python.
- Exposure to Playwright and/or Selenium.
- Understanding of functional and regression testing.
- Basic understanding of API testing.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic automation failures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn ERP/enterprise application automation.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to SAP/S4HANA or other ERP applications.
- Exposure to Salesforce or Workday.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs.
- Exposure to qTest, Jira, or ALM.
- Basic knowledge of Git/TFS.
- Exposure to Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts.
