JOB SUMMARY:
The SAP Lead Developer is responsible for supporting SAP HANA ABAP development projects, ensuring continuous global operations. Key duties include designing, building, and testing SAP objects, establishing coding standards, providing project estimates, collaborating on design and testing, and managing application SLAs. This role requires experience in IT applications, agile project management, and SAP ABAP/4 programming. Strong analytical, communication, and business process skills are essential.
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:
- Should be able to work independently from the client location and understand the business requirements and design and develop a solution for that.
- They will also be responsible for debugging and optimizing the existing code base for the SAP ECC environment.
- Experience implementing SAP ABAP with Fiori, UI5 and OData
- Agile project management skills
- Experience with SAP ABAP/4 programming and most of the following: BADIs and BAPIs, IDOC’s, Workflow and LSMW
- Experience with S/4 Hana clean-core methologies, CDS Views, OData APIs, Services
- Experience with SAP FIORI and RAP Model.
- Proficient in advanced OOP concepts including class design, inheritance, polymorphism, interfaces, exception classes, and event handling to build modular, scalable, and reusable solutions.
