We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Leading Hand to support daily warehouse operations, lead and motivate the team, and ensure trade customers receive efficient, friendly service
About the Role
Working within a supportive team, you will take a hands-on approach to coordinating warehouse activities while maintaining accuracy, productivity and safety
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring trade customers are served promptly and receive a high standard of customer service.
- Coordinating team activities to maintain productivity, efficiency and accurate order picking.
- Ensuring outgoing goods are dispatched accurately and on time.
- Coordinating and assisting with receiving and putting away incoming stock.
- Coordinating rolling stocktakes to maintain stock accuracy and identify issues with picking processes or warehouse systems.
- Performing general warehouse duties as required.
About You
You will ideally bring:
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Leading Hand or in a similar warehouse leadership role.
- A sound understanding of warehouse and distribution operations.
- The ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with warehouse and office teams.
- Practical problem-solving skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety.
- A positive, team-focused approach.
