Introduction
Are you passionate about advanced semiconductor technologies and eager to gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge wafer fabrication environment? Join our CMOS Product Development team in Fab1 Dresden and contribute to the development of new features for the industry-leading technology platforms .
As an intern, you will work closely with experienced technology development engineers, supporting the execution, monitoring, and documentation of technology development programs that enable the next generation of low-power semiconductor products.
Your Responsibilities
Technology Development Support
- Monitor development wafers throughout the wafer fabrication process.
- Support the setup and execution of technology development experiments.
- Extract, analyze, and track key inline process parameters.
- Monitor the health and progress of development lots across the fab.
- Coordinate special characterization activities, including:
- Inline measurements
- Laboratory analyses
- Electrical test evaluations
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure timely execution of development activities.
Program Documentation & Digitalization
- Support the organization and maintenance of technology development documentation.
- Contribute to establishing unified SharePoint structures for program data management.
- Assist in developing and maintaining automated technology scorecards and reporting dashboards.
- Support the implementation of AI-assisted reporting and data analysis solutions to improve program efficiency.
What We Are Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Physics
- Microelectronics
- Semiconductor Technology
- Data Science or a related technical field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in semiconductor manufacturing and technology development.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, Python, or similar is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of semiconductor processes is beneficial but not required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Self-motivated, structured, and eager to learn.
