At GOG, we build for gamers who care about preservation, community, and nostalgia. Our mission is bold: make games live forever, and that requires seamless, modern experiences that resonate with today’s players while staying true to GOG’s identity.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own our e-commerce experience end to end. You will be the dedicated product owner for the Store: product page, checkout, payment methods, and home page, working closely with the Store team and reporting to the Head of Product.

This is a role for someone who does their own research, brings data-backed hypotheses, and challenges the status quo rather than waiting for a backlog to be handed over.

Job requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience in B2C e-commerce or marketplaces

  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach: KPI ownership, A/B testing, hands-on work with product analytics

  • Demonstrated ability to execute a comprehensive product strategy: aligning product goals with overall business objectives, identifying market opportunities, and making strategic decisions to drive growth

  • Ability to lead cross-functional work across business, engineering, and design without formal authority

  • Good understanding of UX and the ability to empathise with users and understand their needs

  • Technical understanding deep enough to make informed decisions and question engineering choices

  • Proven success in conversion rate optimisation (CRO)

  • Proven track record of releasing products to the public, including go-to-market strategy and tactics

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with the gaming industry and the business models within it

Responsibilities

  • Work day to day with the engineering team: shape the problem together, keep the backlog clear and prioritised, and stay close enough to the build to make trade-off calls quickly

  • Drive e-commerce metrics: conversion, AOV, LTV, cart abandonment, and incremental gross revenue from shipped features

  • Run storefront experimentation from hypothesis to decision, and turn results into roadmap decisions

  • Do your own discovery: analyse the funnel and decide what is worth testing

  • Own the Commercial (Store) backlog, prioritised with RICE, and co-own quarterly goals with the Head of Product

  • Partner with the Head of Store and other department heads on prioritisation, research, and analysis

  • Coordinate cross-cutting Store work such as SEO and GEO (generative engine optimisation), plus selected strategic projects

What success looks like

  • Month 3: you are fully onboarded and know the team and key stakeholders, understand the business and where the leverage sits, own the Commercial backlog end to end with RICE scoring agreed with the relevant department heads, and have key user flows and metrics instrumented and baselined. You have run your first A/B tests, and at least one has led to a revenue-generating change.

  • Month 6: you have hit your goals and KPIs for a full quarter, built productive working relationships with the departments you depend on, and taken full ownership of the Commercial roadmap for the coming quarters.

  • Month 12: the features you shipped have generated significant incremental gross revenue (attributed) in line with yearly goals, key metrics have measurably improved against the Month 3 baseline, and you are contributing to company-level strategy.

About the team

You will join a small, senior product department where people are trusted to fully own their areas. Our PMs do their own research, run their own experiments, argue about the data, and are accountable for outcomes. Decisions get made close to the work, and the person with the best argument usually wins regardless of title. We aim to be one of the best product teams in Europe.
