About the role

At GMW, Australia's largest rural water corporation, you'll help deliver critical infrastructure that supports communities, agriculture and the environment across northern Victoria. We're seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our Infrastructure Delivery Services team in Tatura, leading the design of complex civil engineering projects that help shape the future of water infrastructure across regional Victoria.

**The opportunity**

As the technical lead for civil engineering, you'll be responsible for delivering high\-quality engineering and design solutions across a diverse portfolio of irrigation, drainage and dam infrastructure projects. Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, consultants and contractors, you'll provide expert technical advice, mentor engineers within the team and ensure projects are designed to be delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest professional standards.

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

* A degree in Civil Engineering * Registration as a Professional Engineer (RPEV and NER) * Extensive experience in the design of dams, irrigation, drainage or other major civil infrastructure * Strong project management and consultant management experience * Demonstrated knowledge of Safety in Design principles and relevant Australian Standards * Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
