As the Manager of Culture \& Engagement, in close collaboration with the Chief Human Resources Officer, you will be responsible for both executing and coordinating internal culture and communication initiatives at Grameen America. This role is highly hands\-on: you will be developing communication materials, writing and editing newsletters, developing presentations, and implementing engagement programs and scalable tools that reinforce recognition, connection, and belonging across the organization. You will bring ideas to life through strong execution, ensuring they align with our values and goals and most importantly with the human capital priorities and agenda.
While the role carries a manager title, the primary focus is on operational delivery and end\-to\-end ownership of projects, from concept to final implementation. This role will also collaborate cross\-functionally across departments to ensure cultural alignment and support the execution of company\-wide campaigns and events impacting our growing staff of 480 plus team members. **Key Responsibilities**
1\.Internal Communications Execution* Write, edit, and produce internal newsletters, email updates, and other communications. * Build communication workflows and templates in Mailchimp, Teams, and other platforms. * Manage visual and written branding for internal materials (onboarding kits, screensavers, welcome letters, etc.). * Coordinate communication timelines and send\-outs across channels.
2\. Culture \& Engagement Program Management* Execute employee engagement activities such as town halls, HQ meetings, recognition ceremonies, etc. * Lead the implementation, and ongoing management of an employee peer\-to\-peer recognition platform, including vendor partnership, rollout strategy, adoption campaigns, and measurement of impact. * Organize campaign logistics, calendar invites, and Zoom sessions. * Draft, manage and deploy recognition content, reflection prompts, and celebration assets.
3\. Cross\-Functional Support \& Alignment* Partner with Chief of Staff to confirm/safeguard CEO strategic priorities. * Collaborate with Marketing and Operations teams to align messaging and deliverables. * Collaborate closely with our oneGrameen employee Advocates to amplify team members' voices, gather insights from the field and HQ, and co\-create initiatives that strengthen engagement and culture. * Serve as the point person for internal branding initiatives and approval processes. * Create decks and visuals for leadership presentations. * Perform other related duties as assigned. These “other duties as assigned” are part of how we adapt, innovate, and support one another. As such, additional duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned as needed to meet team and organizational goals.
**Qualifications:*** Minimum of 3 years of experience in a culture and internal communication role. * Bachelor’s degree preferred. * Bilingual Written and Visual Communication (English and Spanish). * Project and Campaign Execution. * Internal Branding and Content Creation. * Ability to collaborate and build relationships across all organizational levels. * Demonstrated strong follow\- up and follow\- through skills. * Proven ability to work independently with a proactive and self\-directed approach.
**Travel Requirement:**
* Attend required in\-person meetings in New York City. * Hybrid work arrangement required in the New York City office. * Travel to field branches based on business needs (in and outside of the tri\-state area).
