About Us
Green Ginger Digital is a thriving Performance Marketing agency located in the heart of Beverley, East Yorkshire. We specialise in helping ambitious businesses grow by connecting them with the right customers, time and again.
As a small but dynamic team, we deliver big results for our clients, offering services such as PPC, SEO, and strategic consultancy. We take pride in fostering a kind, collaborative and passionate work environment where every team member can thrive and contribute to our shared success.
We are looking for an experienced SEO Account Manager to own a portfolio of client relationships and lead the delivery of their organic search strategies. You'll be each client's day-to-day point of contact, presenting plans, reporting results in commercial terms and turning business goals into clear SEO priorities across both content and technical SEO, while staying hands-on with the work itself.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact for a portfolio of SEO clients, building long-term, trusted relationships.
- Lead regular client calls and monthly and quarterly reviews, presenting performance and agreed next steps.
- Present SEO strategies and roadmaps to clients clearly and confidently, and gain their buy-in.
- Adapt your communication style to each stakeholder, from marketing coordinators to senior decisionmakers.
- Manage client expectations, timelines, and deliverables across multiple accounts.
- Handle difficult conversations with confidence, including underperformance, scope of changes and pushback on recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts and recommend additional services.
- Contribute to client retention through consistent delivery and proactive communication.
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to inform each client's content strategy.
- Translate client business goals into SEO priorities and agree KPIs with each client.
- Use client context, history and performance data to devise and deliver meaningful, high-impact strategies.
- Proactively contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual plans that move client goals forward.
- Manage and execute on-page optimisations across your client portfolio, taking responsibility for their quality and effectiveness, including titles, meta descriptions and H1 tags.
- Create, edit and publish engaging editorial, eCommerce and blog content tailored to client goals and SEO best practice, including product listings and guides.
- Implement changes confidently and accurately within CMS platforms such as WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify.
- Plan and run content tests, then measure and communicate their impact.
- Work closely with technical SEO specialists and client development teams, acting as the link between technical work and each client's wider SEO strategy.
- Make sure content and technical tasks are planned together and aligned to client goals, so each supports the other to drive performance.
- Brief developers clearly on SEO requirements and check that changes have been implemented correctly.
- Coordinate content and technical work during website builds, redesigns and migrations to protect organic visibility.
- Track the combined impact of content and technical changes, and use the results to shape future priorities.
- Monitor performance and analyse data from Google Analytics, Search Console, Screaming Frog and Semrush to provide actionable insights for clients and senior team members.
- Produce regular client performance reports that highlight results and recommendations, explaining them in commercial terms (leads, enquiries, revenue), not just rankings and traffic.
- Visualise data clearly and concisely, tailored to the audience.
- React promptly to changes in performance, coordinating the team to resolve issues and keeping the client informed throughout.
- Work within our established processes and help improve them.
- Optimise and maintain Google Business Profile listings.
- Manage and optimise business directory listings.
- Use AI tools to develop and improve our SEO and content processes.
- Share what works with the wider team.
