**Senior Pharmacy Assistant** **Annandale** **Permanent Part Time \| 3 Weekdays \|**

Join our friendly team in Annandale. We are part of a group of three well established independent community pharmacies and pride ourselves on being a supportive and enjoyable place to work.

We are at the heart of our local community, with a strong focus on health, service and expert advice. Our aim is to be the destination pharmacy for both prescription and over the counter health needs.

We are looking for an experienced pharmacy assistant or retail manager to join our busy and progressive pharmacy in a permanent part time role, 21 to 24 hours per week, preferably working on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays between 8:00am and 4pm although there is some flexibility possible. There is no weekend or evening work required.

This role would suit someone with solid community pharmacy experience. We are looking for a person who can either already assist with front of shop operations such as ordering, merchandising and point of sale administration, or who has the potential to be trained into that level of responsibility.

**About You**

You are an experienced pharmacy assistant looking for a stable weekday role in a well run independent pharmacy.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Previous experience in Australian community pharmacy POS experience and sound computer skills Good communication and customer service skills Strong time management and organisational skills A sound knowledge of over the counter pharmacy products

Ideally, you will also have:

At least 1 year of full time equivalent experience in community pharmacy Experience with ordering, merchandising or stock control

Within our group, you will also have the support of experienced staff including our Group Retail Manager, Business and Finance Manager, as well as the proprietors, who will assist with training and ongoing development.

**Key Responsibilities**

Providing friendly and efficient customer service Placing front of shop orders and dealing with sales representatives Receiving stock, receipting invoices and assisting with retail pricing Assisting with merchandising and maintaining an attractive front of shop Helping keep the point of sale system accurate and up to date Managing credits and related administrative tasks Supervising and delegating to part time and junior staff Working closely with the owners and pharmacists to help ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly and efficiently
