**Job Summary**

Welcome to Cool City Chevrolet! We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dealership Parts Manager to lead our parts department with enthusiasm and precision. In this role, you will oversee the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of automotive parts and accessories, ensuring seamless operations that support our dealership’s service, autobody, and sales teams. Your expertise in automotive parts will drive efficiency, optimize inventory levels, and enhance customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a Chevrolet team, implement innovative sourcing strategies, and contribute to the overall success of our dealership.

**Duties**

* Manage the entire parts inventory lifecycle, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution using dealertrack and General Motors stocking systems. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely sourcing of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts and accessories at competitive prices. * Oversee procurement processes, including demand planning, pricing negotiations, and parts sourcing to meet dealership needs efficiently. * Coordinate shipping \& receiving operations, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation of all parts movements. * Assist with equipment repair coordination as needed, and adherence to safety standards. * Utilize data entry skills to maintain precise records of parts administration, order management system updates, and inventory control metrics. * Collaborate closely with internal teams such as automotive service technicians and sales staff to ensure parts availability aligns with customer demand and service schedules.

**Skills**

* Extensive experience in parts management within an automotive dealership or manufacturing environment, GM experience preferred but not required. * Proven supplier management experience with strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms. * Deep knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle systems, and automotive parts \& accessories. * Proficiency in inventory management systems, delivery inventory management, and Parts administration software such as dealertrack. * Familiarity with warehouse management practices including shipping \& receiving procedures. * Excellent internal communication skills for effective communication across departments; adept at data entry and maintaining detailed records. * Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair processes is highly advantageous for understanding parts specifications and applications.
