**Job Summary**
Hawaii Shoulder \& Orthopedic Institute (HiSOI) is seeking an experienced Enterprise Web Developer \& Senior SEO Strategist to lead the complete redevelopment of our digital presence.
This is a unique opportunity to build a modern healthcare web ecosystem from the ground up. We are looking for a skilled professional who can architect, develop, launch, and optimize high\-performance websites while driving measurable growth through organic search and patient acquisition.

***Responsibilities***
**Website Development \& Architecture**
* Design, develop, and launch new websites using modern web technologies * **Build scalable, secure, and maintainable web infrastructures** * Optimize website performance, accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and user experience * **Manage hosting, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing site maintenance**
**SEO \& Organic Growth**
* Develop and execute advanced SEO strategies for orthopedic, surgical, and healthcare service lines * Improve search rankings, organic traffic, and patient lead generation * **Monitor search engine algorithm updates and adjust strategies accordingly**
**Security \& Compliance**
* Maintain website security, backups, SSL certificates, and uptime monitoring
**Required Qualifications**
* Proven experience building and managing websites from the ground up * Strong portfolio of custom\-built sales websites and landing pages * Demonstrated success improving organic search rankings and website traffic * Expertise in technical SEO, local SEO, site architecture, and performance optimization * Strong problem\-solving, communication, and project management skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working with healthcare organizations, medical practices, hospital systems, or multi\-location businesses * **Familiarity with HIPAA\-related website considerations** * Experience managing SEO campaigns across multiple geographic markets
**Preferred Technical Experience**
Experience with one or more of the following:
* Next.js, React, Sanity, Strapi, Vercel **Astro, Headless WordPress, AWS** Remix, Prisma, PostgreSQL **Webflow Enterprise, Finsweet, Whalesync** Nuxt.js, Vue, Storyblok
Additional experience with:
* Google Analytics 4 **Google Search Console** Technical SEO platforms **API integrations** Cloud hosting environments **CI/CD deployment workflows**
