JOB PURPOSE
To assist with new product launches and annual PPAP requirements. To provide an interface between the customer and plant.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Program Romer Arm and complete new part/ annual layouts as required.
- Complete PPAP documentation for all customers using AIAG Standards or customer specified format (see customer specific requirements).
- Complete capability studies for PPAP’s or required by customer.
- Manage calibration process including quoting costs for outsourcing.
- Complete receiving inspection requirements on incoming material, colorant and components.
- Assist with containment process, including internal and external sorting when needed.
- Assist with maintaining Poka Yoke devices and red rabbits through monthly visual inspections.
- Participate actively in the requirement to retain IATF 16949/ ISO14001 certification by monitoring and assessing the performance of the quality system on a regular basis to maintain system integrity.
- Manage Safe launch and containment activities and train personnel as required for certifying and Labelling and use of computers. Collect sorting data sheets and log into the ERP system for tracking purposes. Ensure sorting station is organized.
- Provide written technical responses to Customers on quality issues, i.e. CAR, 8D, 5 Why, etc.
- Corrective actions external & Internal. Logs them into the CAR Logbook and issues RMA for sorting requirements as required.
- Any other tasks assigned by Quality Manager.

- Basic blue print reading
- Strong problem solving skills
- Knowledge of SPC, MSA

- Basic knowledge of Control Charts
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
A) EDUCATION
- Post-Secondary Education in applicable field - preferred
B) TRAINING
- Supplemental on-the-job training as required
C) EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within an injection molding environment – preferred
D) ADDITIONAL REQUIRMENTS
- Valid passport
- Valid driver’s license
WORKING CONDITIONS
- This position may include shift and weekend work.
- This position may require international travel including to USA/Mexico.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift up to 15kgs
- Sitting, standing, walking, car travel for up to 4 hours

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
